Undefeated New Orleans is favored by 11.5 points at home on Monday (8:30 PM ET) when the Saints host Atlanta in a battle of the NFC South’s top two teams. The Saints’ offense has scored 45 or more points in four of their six games, while the Falcons’ defense got lit up in Dallas last weekend.
NBA Betting
Wednesday night (8:30 PM ET) will see Ron Artest make his return to Houston when his Los Angeles Lakers head on the road to meet the Rockets, who lost to the Lakers in seven games in the Western Conference finals. The Lakers will also reunite with Trevor Ariza, who was signed by Houston to replace Artest. On Thursday night (8:00 PM ET), MVP (and online betting favorite to repeat) LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers kick off TNT’s weekly televised doubleheader when they host reigning Rookie of the Year Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls.
NHL Betting
Thursday is also a big night on the ice, starting with a meeting of Original Six rivals as Montreal heads to Boston (7:00 PM ET) with the intention of getting revenge for last season’s playoff sweep at the hands of the Bruins. To end the night, Pittsburgh heads to Los Angeles (10:30 PM ET) to face a young Kings team looking to copy the Penguins’ blueprint for success. The Kings don’t have the luxury of drafting a Sidney Crosby and/or Evgeni Malkin, but they’ve got some good young pieces in place, and they could be one of the trendier sleeper hockey picks of the year.
